Six.

Six years ago, today, my first child was born and my life was changed forever.

   

At the time, I was naive. I had no comprehension of how challenging it would be to be a father. I also had no comprehension of how rewarding it would be.

 Over the past six years, I have seen my child go from a helpless baby to an adventurous toddler, to a helpless toddler, to a remarkably mature and caring kindergartener with a love for learning and a streak of silliness that I adore. She has come so far.
