It's about flippin' time!

It took four years and four months, but Michael's Meanderings finally has it's very own URL. It is, appropriately enough, www.michaelsmeanderings.com.

I won't get into the exorbitant amounts of money I had to pay to obtain the new address, nor will I divulge any details about losing a naked mud wrestling match so the domain's previous owner could win the balance of payment (that I couldn't otherwise afford) on a bet, so you'll just have to take my word that it was much, much harder than simply registering a domain name through blogger and then clicking a little check box.

Why did I do it? Why did I go through all the trouble that I'm not going to talk about just to get a URL for Michael's Meanderings? I did it for you, fair reader. I did it so you wouldn't have to type out that long address. Because I care. And because I wanted to thank you.

Thank you for reading Michael's Meanderings.

Enjoy!

I just type in pealow.com and it goes right to your site. Even shorter

It does, indeed! But I might use that for something else, someday. And I never set it up so it would have that nice, short address for all the postings.

I have you bookmarked, but I appreciate the gesture! And, while I'm at it, I thought I'd mention that I really enjoyed the posts about your camping trip with Jade, and that United Breaks Guitars video is absolutely hilarious (and the song, strangely catchy).
