Shake it, baby, shake it!

I believe that anybody can learn how to play a musical instrument. No matter what challenges you may face, no matter how young or old you are, you can learn to play a musical instrument of some sort.

Recently, I introduced three-month-old Halia to the "squeaky giraffe".

"Squeaky Giraffe, meet Halia. Halia, meet the Squeak Giraffe."

As amusing as the squeaky giraffe was to Halia, I quickly discovered that her musical skills are far more advanced than I suspected.  Look at what happened when I gave her a pair of maracas...

Maracas with attitude!

"Shake it, baby, shake it!"

"Hey, I'm pretty good!"

Yes, I think we're going to see great things out of this little musical prodigy.

What a cutie!! And I think about all I could ever handle in the music department would be the squeaky giraffe!!! Although, I do play a pretty mean stereo! :)

Caity loves Sophie the giraffe too. At least until James put her in the dishwasher. She squeeks no more. :o(

Love the photos!

Awwww, how adorable! Look at her determined little face:) She's really concentrating when she's puckering her lips like that. Great photo's, Fawn.
