Coffee Shop Culture

I believe it's important to expose children to different cultures. It helps them to build a broader perspective about the world around them. So, while neither of us drink coffee, I decided to take her into the Backeri (which I refuse to call by its new, lame name) for a cookie, a warm, frothy beverage, and to learn a little about coffee shop culture.

It always amazes me how kids are able to absorb everything about the world around them, and it always startles me how quickly they adopt the behaviours that they see.

For example, here is a series of pictures where Jade mimics a coffee addict:
"Oh, I've so needed this."

"Glug, glug, mmmm, glug!"

"Oh, just a little more..."

"Ahh... that hit the spot!"

"Maybe I'll have another sip or two..."

"Look!  Look!  I'm wired on caffeine!"

Will you be continuing Jade's coffee education by taking her on a field trip to Envirolube? I think you need to expose her to all aspects of the caffeine culture. It never hurts to get a 57-point vehicle inspection, either.

LMAO! "Glug, glug, mmm, glug!" is the best caption, but my favourite shot is the last one.

My mom takes my daughter into coffee shops, and I love looking at the pictures. Seeing a little girl sipping from her cup is just the darned cutest thing ever!

She looks like a seasoned coffee glugger.
