Granny Update

Someone landed at Michael's Meanderings today after doing a search for my Granny and me. Long-time readers of this blog may recall the fiasco with Air Canada and their refusal to fly my Granny back home from Whitehorse after we found out she had a brain tumour. I have been remiss in providing an update.

My Granny is still alive and she still has cancer.  Speaking to her on the phone, she sounds like she always has; clever and witty and sweet.  Her body, on the other hand, is betraying her, which, I imagine, is exceptionally frustrating.

I'm looking forward to visiting with her (and my Pop) sometime this winter.  I won't be flying there with Air Canada.
