Thanks to all those visitors who've been dropping by despite my lack of postings. The end of March was a little nutty, in terms of work deadlines, and I had to pull a couple of all-nighters.
So, what's been happening otherwise? Nanuq and I made it out to the Copper Haul Twister for the final race of the season. We came in fourth (out of five) and won $20, a nice gift certificate, and a lot of frozen fish heads (for Nanuq to snack on), compliments of Icy Waters, a local char farm.
I've started training for an adventure race this summer. I've never done an adventure race before; only the components that make up an adventure race. Yesterday I went for a run with two of my team mates. After not running all winter and not being sure if I was back to full strength after the Hodgepodge Malaise, I was pretty happy with how I did.
Fawn and I received a couple of 6"x6" wooden puzzle pieces in the mail the other day. They're part of a larger project; the pieces are being distributed to individuals who then make their own little pieces of art according to some general guidelines and colour schemes. Eventually, all of the puzzle pieces will be reassembled in Dawson to make one giant piece of art. There are 400 puzzle pieces. I think I've finally figured out what I'm going to do with mine. I can't wait to see it all come together.
