I've said it before and I'll say it again, editorial cartoons say more about human nature - and expose more about the issues and ironies and hypocrisies of our times - better than any other medium.

EU is also dragging their feet when it comes to outlawing the plucking of down from live geese, the transporting of animals to slaughter under horrendous conditions...because there is a big and (almost) omnipotent group of farmers and their lobbyists who set the agenda.
