Wet Blanket.

Last night, Fawn was pretty excited that yesterday may have been Jade's first seizure-free day since May. Of course, I was pretty hopeful that it was - but was afraid that maybe she had had one while having her nap or after she fell asleep and we had simply missed it.

When Fawn crawled into bed, she was actually bouncing around like a helium balloon on a windy day.

"Today was her first seizure free day since May!"

It was then that I made an unfortunate error. I shared my concern.

>POP!< fzzZZZzzzzzzzz........

I actually felt her slump in the bed like a deflated piece of rubber.

Then she said something like, "You really know how to ruin a good good mood," which is just another way of saying, "You seriously just burst my bubble."

By now, I should know better than to open my big mouth, especially when treading that tricky line between hope and caution.

My dear, I am truly sorry.

(By the way, I think that yesterday may have been Jade's first seizure-free day since May!!!)
