I got w00ted.

Last night, the Whitehorse All-City Concert Bands (and some high school concert bands) had their year-end concert at the Yukon Arts Centre. It was extra special for me because I got to play a tuba feature, accompanied by the concert band.  The piece is called "Beelzebub" by A. Catozzi.

It's melodic little piece that gives people a chance to realise that a tuba can do a lot more than go "oom-pah, oom-pah".

The audience was really supportive.  I had a lot of fun playing the piece and I think the audience enjoyed it, too.  At least one of the high school musicians "wOOt"ed me.

Forget the guitar - the tuba is way cooler.
