And for your first birthday you get...

...an ear infection!

We took Jade to the doctor's office this afternoon and that was the diagnosis. A crappy birthday present, but she's kind of lucky in a way - she gets the liquid antibiotics. On the very rare occasion that I need antibiotics they'll never give ME the liquid kind! What's up with that? I can't help it if I can't swallow pills!

Hopefully they do the trick. She's been very good as far as sick babies go, but I want my smiling bundle of energy back.
