Michael's Medical Updates

So, I guess this is becoming some sort of medical update blog. For those of you who have been wondering about the status of Jade's hernia (yup, that's what it is), Fawn has captured things nicely here and here.

The quick summary is this:

• Jade's going in for surgery tomorrow morning.
• It's a quick surgery.
• They putting her to sleep with anaesthetic.
• They're anaesthetizing her hand (to put the needle in) before they anaesthetize her.
• She should be ready to leave the hospital around noon.
• After the surgery, she's not allowed to lift more than 20 lbs.
