Last day of induction.

Today was our last visit (for a few months, hopefully) to the hospital.

Jade is back to eating and drinking! She's more active for most of the day! It's great to see.

She did have more drop seizures today than she had yesterday or a few days ago (when she had none), but the overall seizure situation is still a heck of a lot better than it was before the ketogenic diet started. They say it takes a while (even a few months) before the full effects of the diet are seen, so I'm still hopeful that we'll continue to see improvements in spite of that setback.

The crew at the hospital are awesome. We're lucky to have that kind of support.

We should be home tomorrow, just in time to dress Jade up for a little bit of trick-or-treating!

Awesome. How does trick-or-treating gel with the diet? Can you make exceptions for holidays, or do you have to make up for it somehow?

Have a safe trip home!

No exceptions. Fawn got a bunch of non-food treats from the dollar store and we distributed them to the neighbours before we left for Vancouver.
