A new look.

I was getting bored with the old look of Michael's Meanderings, so I decided to try something new.  With this design, I'll be able to change the background with minimal effort.  This means that, every now and then, I'll change the scenery.

I know it's not perfect, so I'm considering it a work in progress.  I look forward to your suggestions on how to improve things.

love the scenery but you're missing the links to pages you like. It's how I got to Fawnahareo's Place all the time

Not as easy to read and you don't get the full effect of the picture behind. Sorry to be negative.

Suzanne: I'll have the links up later tonight.
Mom: Is it the background that makes it harder to read or the font (size or style)?

All in all, I think it does a much better job of reflecting the spirit of your life and writing than the previous design.

We briefly considered changing the look of our site, but in the end, we decided that nothing says Smells Like Yukon like a lazy default page with baby-poo green.

make the white background more opaque so you can read the words better...

The background.....font size and style are fine.

Now more opaque for your viewing pleasure (and I made the font a little bit bigger).

Login, I think I saw that particular shade of green in the pool at the Canada Games Centre.

Looks great :) Very clean. I didn't see it with the less opaque background but its perfectly legible now.

My only suggestion, a minor detail really, would be to make the narrow column on the right a tiny bit wider so that there's the same amount of free space on the right as on the left (so that "Meandering" and the doted lines don't touch the edge).

Looking forward to seeing different backgrounds every once in a while!

And that, aside from the fact I'm not a babysitter, is exactly why I refuse to take my employer's snotty brat swimming at the Multiplex. Sorry, "Canada Games Centre...."
